Eureka! AmberEd works with students and families at each stage of the college application process, with personalized curriculum and strategies.

Our practices emphasize a few things below -

1. To build a balanced college list - there are plenty of choices between Ivies and local community colleges.

2. To strategize resource allocation on standardized tests, pre-college programs, and the application process.

3. To leverage data insights and third-party tools for time management on an optimized application process.

Pre-defined Packages

  • Crunch Mode Seniors

    $80 annual subscription plan to access GuidedPath (GP) portal through the whole college application cycle.

    • Great value for self-sufficient students.

    • Unlimited access to GP portal and customized training materials.

    • All-in-one platform to identify college goals via questionnaires, research and build school lists, and track application progress and chart deadlines.

    • Parents could have an optional account (no extra costs) to either contribute to or view the students’ application project management.

    • Essay management tool access is available with an additional $50 one-time off purchase.

    • AmberEd counseling service is available via the hourly plan.

  • Juniors 2H & Seniors

    Comprehensive service on college application counseling including what’s in the Sophomores and Juniors 1H Plan. PLUS

    • College application project management and time management w/ a dedicated client portal GuidedPath (GP).

    • Research, analyze, and strategize for a balanced college list that best fits the student for the college and beyond.

    • College essays and resume brainstorming and review. Leverage the essay management tool empowered by Prompt on GP.

    • Assistance on financial aids application (and appeal if necessary), interviews, scholarships, and admission decisions.

    • Adequate meetings and follow-ups w/ actionable to-dos to ensure the scrutiny of the completed applications and successful matriculation.

  • Sophomores & Juniors 1H

    Early college planning and strategies, usually 3 meetings per semester.

    • Assessment of interests, strengths, and college goals.

    • Advice on course selections, standardized tests, extracurricular activities, and pre-college programs.

    • GuidedPath and essay management tool accesses are both included.

    • AmberEd counseling service is available for pre-college programs application via the hourly or a customized package plan.

  • Hourly Plan

    For clients who are self-sufficient in college planning & applying, and just need counseling service for certain areas, this is the plan for you.

    For instance, we can work with you on your college list building, your resume review and LOR strategies, application timeline arrangement plan, matriculation decision recommendations, and etc.

    For non-package clients, we have a two-hour minimum policy for the first paid service.

  • Package Plan

    For clients who want to leverage our expertise comprehensively for a certain period of time, this is the plan for you.

    For each package described above, we work together to define your goals and our deliverables. The plans could be customized to best serve your needs.

    Plans are available for purchase as a combo or renewal later.
